Client requests cannot raise these limits during the beta.

Authentication limits

An exceeded limit returns 429 with {"error":"..."}. Back off until the window expires.

The retired signup route always returns 403; it does not create accounts. Billing does not impose an item quota. Newly accepted items create local usage records at the published $0.10 per 1,000 items rate, but live charging is disabled during the founder-assisted beta.
